Brass Player's Honor Roll

While exhibiting at various conferences, we are amazed to learn that many students had not heard of their instrument's pioneers. Tuba students must know about the likes of William Bell and Harvey Phillips just as much as a horn student should know about Philip Farkas, a trombone student about Frank Crisafulli and Ed Kleinhammer, or a trumpet student about the remarkable career of Bud Herseth. Each year the International Horn Society, International Trumpet Guild, International Trombone Association and the International Tuba Euphonium Association have given their highest awards to some of the world's finest players. For a students researching on the net, no brass organization have biographies. We hope to have all biographies available so teachers refer students here to learn about brass instrument's greats.

Have a biography of any of these players? Please send it to us.
